We want to understand the views of parents and carers with regard to protecting children from preventable diseases through immunisation.
Parents in England are advised to immunise their children in line with the national routine immunisation schedule to protect them from vaccine preventable diseases. Unfortunately, in the UK and locally, we are starting to see a decline in childhood immunisation uptake.
The Access for All Gloucestershire Immunisation Programme would like to gain an insight from parents and carers as to why, in some areas, fewer parents are accepting the offer of immunisations for their children.
We are particularly interested in potential barriers that are preventing access to children’s immunisation services.
Your suggestions will help us review and plan how we can improve the delivery of immunisation services across Gloucestershire.
